FAQ's
1. Is this itinerary the presentations we will actually see each day?
While requests and holds have been made on presenters diaries at the time of formulating the tour itinerary, due to the nature of retail and business pressures, there is no guarantee that these presentations will go ahead exactly as outlined until much closer to the actual date of presentation. Times may also vary to accommodate presenters requirements. However, every effort is being made to deliver the tour as outlined and where a presenter cannot appear for any reason, an appropriate substitute will be secured.
2. Do I need my own travel insurance?
It is a requirement of the tour that each attendee must have their own travel insurance. This can be done either through your own travel insurance provider - in which case a copy of the valid coverage certificate will need to be produced for our files - or arranged for you through Taylor Made Travel (Maryanne Osborne).
3. What other expenses do I need to allow for?
You will need to cover the costs of your own meals (outside breakfasts and the close of tour dinner which are included in the price), your hotel incidental charges (charged direct to your credit card) and other sundry expenses for your own transport and entertainment choices outside organised tour activities.
4. Can we pre-arrange tickets to shows or dinner reservations?
Yes. By contacting Sarah Hamshere at iD Australia individual entertainment and dinner reservations can be made for you in advance. In addition, closer to the tour start dates, we will circulate a list of restaurant and entertainment suggestions open to attendees who may like to enjoy some of these highlights as part of the travelling group.
5. Can I take photographs of presentations and stores?
We will ask permission from all official presenting retailers prior to the tour and advise you where this permission has been refused. In addition, Red Retail Tours will photograph and (in most cases) video record the presentations. All materials captured on tour - photos, videos, presentation materials, speakers notes and workshop workbooks - will be made available to attendees as part of the Red Retail Tours Alumni section of the website www.redretailtours.com.
6. Can I request a special dietary requirement?
Absolutely. Simply notify us at the time of booking and we will arrange to notify airline, hotels and restaurants of your request.
7. Can I add extra destinations on the end of the official tour?
Yes. To arrange please contact Maryann Osborne at Taylor Made Travel and she will re-arrange your connections accordingly.
